The World’s Best Gamay: a complex, fleshy wine
Located in the heart of the Beaujolais vineyards, in Lantignié, the Thulon domain produces Beaujolais and Beaujolais-Villages wines on 17 ha. of land. Painstakingly and patiently produced, the Opale vintage is described as the domain’s “gem”.

This wine is the fruit of long maceration of 100% destemmed grapes; the beginning of fermentation is followed by gentle pressing, and the wine is then aged in barrels made of different wood essences. The result is a powerful nectar that has notes of roasted coffee beans, blackberries and black cherries, and it is complex and fleshy on the palate...a very amazing Gamay!
